We wrapped up Movie May with a bang—youth finished filming their one-minute films and jumped straight into designing custom movie posters in Canva to bring their visions to life. Some are still editing final cuts, and we’re pumped to see what they come up with. But that’s just one part of the story.
This summer, we’ve also teamed up with One Vegetable, One Community to design vibrant social media posts about herbs and healthy living. Between Canva designs, personal presentations about our dream lives, and hands-on tech exploration, the Hub has been buzzing. Youth are diving into educational games, learning new software, 3D printing, and—most importantly—shaping what summer at the Tech Hub looks and feels like.
Keeping true to our core values—treating the Tech Hub as a shared gift, learning, earning, and returning through creativity and community—our youth stepped up at Mobility Mania, helping film and interview differently abled individuals at a Guinness World Record attempt. That experience has sparked the idea of a youth-led documentary project, centered on telling real stories from our community. Big things are in motion—come be part of it.
We’re excited to share that our Tech Hub was recently featured by KAXE News!
Listen in to the story and read up on how our youth are leading with creativity, tech, and community spirit.
