This month, Grand Rapids got a taste of what happens when youth take the lead.

One of our very own ambassadors, Chris—a rising senior and proud FFA member—stepped up to teach a mini-course on agriculture and technology. From biotech-inspired Shark Tank pitches to building drip irrigation systems using basil plants and recycled plastic bottles, youth explored how innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand.

We also partnered with May Mobility to document their recent attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most people dancing in wheelchairs at the same time.

Fletcher, another standout youth at the Hub, led a team of young editors and filmmakers to create a powerful short documentary about the event. From camera work to interviews to editing, the entire project was youth-powered.

We just finished the first screening and are continuing to fine-tune it to share with the community—and to hopefully support May Mobility in future fundraising and accessibility efforts.
